This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you interact with Needy Cat Games. 

What information do we collect about you? 
We collect information about you when you sign up to our mailing list or interact with us on social media. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, give feedback, make enquiries or take part in competitions, or sign up to be a playtester. Website usage information is collected through cookies. 
We could also collect information about you if you engage in a contract with us to do work on our behalf or provide products or services to us, or we provide services or products to you.

How will we use the information we collect about you? 
We use details of playtesters to ensure that we comply with our legal and contractual obligations under Non-Disclosure Agreements, and to communicate about playtesting and playtesting opportunities with you. We may pass information about playtesters to companies that are contracting us to develop games or products, or who we are organising playtesters for. This will only be used to coordinate playtesting efforts, which is in our legitimate interest, and to ensure legal compliance. By the nature of playtesting, your personal details (but not contact details) may be revealed to other playtesters to allow for communication and playtesting activities. 
If you contact us by email we’ll store and process your information through [ ]. If you contact us through Facebook, we’ll receive information from Facebook and store your details in our Facebook account. 
We use your information collected from the website to personalise your repeat visits to our website, and for analytics. 
We pass some information to HMRC and other government and legal bodies for the purposes of legal and contractual compliance. 

Marketing  
We would like to send you information about our games and events. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date. We use MailChimp to maintain these lists. 
You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please let us know by clicking this link and unsubscribing. 

How long will we keep your information? 
We’ll retain financial, invoice, purchase and other related information as required by UK law for tax and reporting purposes. Some information may be retained indefinitely due to life-long obligations of liability. 
If you opt out of marketing, we’ll remove your information kept for marketing purposes immediately, and not retain it any longer. 
Playtesting information will be retained for eight years. If you want us to remove any information of this kind before that point, you can email [link] or write to us at the below address. 

Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email [link] or write to us at the address given below. 
We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
